Good evening.

It is around 9:50 pm, and after discussing the results of the "10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse" by JJ Smith with a fellow soon-to-join participant, I decided to blog the process and progress of this venture. 

A little about me...

I have battled with weight all my life.  Due to insecurities, inattentiveness, idiocracies and the like, I found comfort in food. ... junk food to be exact.  It started with oatmeal cakes, then chips, sodas, and the like.  Around my mid-20s, I was able to lose between 50 and 65 pounds with 240 being the highest weight viewed.  I kept it off for 3 years, but as life changes occurred, the less I worked out and the more I ate out and steadily the weight came back on.

I've had tried to again lose weight, but the lack of motivation, discipline and determination have dwindled.  I am hoping that this cleanse will help me see immediate results and be an encouragement to get back into the gym, give it all I got, and see even more results.

I will be blogging daily, either evening or late night, to provide reflections, details and as much accuracy as possible about the 10-day cleanse for me.  It is greatly helpful for those who need hope, who need to know if something can actually work have living proof, and being explicit could provide just that hope.

Tomorrow I will buy the detox tea (Triple Leaf or Yogi brand) to see if that has any major part in the cleanse.  Just seeing if the detox tea would make a difference BEFORE actually starting the smoothies.
